Join the Close Brothers Technology Team where you will lead and manage agile delivery across multiple business units within the division.

Working as part of the Agile Delivery team our ideal team member will have previous experience in squad budget setting, managing general performance and output, and ensuring continual, incremental, hypothesis-based improvements with excellent attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for setting the squad budget, managing the general performance and output of the squads, and ensuring that the squads meet their objectives.
  • Be a consultative expert in agile methods and techniques, including Value Stream principles, to provide guidance and support to the squads.
  • Work with and challenge senior stakeholders in delivery matters, using business terms to ensure clear communication and understanding that supports cohesive delivery of
  • Manage multiple squads including how they operate across each other, ensuring good alignment of delivery and releases
  • Manage the budget for the squads depending on budget source for all squads in the division.
  • Manage partner relationships and ensuring resource suitability, planning, and forecasting to meet the needs of the squads.

Developing Our People: as a line manager, you will be responsible for inspiring and motivating your team, as well as developing performance through coaching. You will encourage your team to take responsibility for their own personal development and provide support through regular feedback.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE:

  • Previous working experience in a delivery role.
  • Experience working in financial services.
  • Understanding of Product Management practices including market analysis techniques.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Assertiveness and the ability to challenge and probe client and business needs.
  • Creative thinker with a vision.
  • Knowledge of Agile process and principles.
  • Knowledge of Lean process and principles.
