Join the Broker & Professional Solutions (BPS) Division of Close Brothers Asset Finance where you will be working closely with the Commercial Director of BPS to deliver on new initiatives that help the businesses to operate effectively, grow at scale whilst reducing cost growth and improving the experience for Brokers, Partners and end-users alike.

Our ideal team member will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills which will be used to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. They have a strong track record of project / initiative delivery and will need to be able to demonstrate some commercial acumen and a pro-active and analytical mind. 

We are looking for a committed individual willing to travel as this role can either be home-based or based out of one of our main hubs – Manchester, Hessle, London, Dundonald or Southampton. You will be required to travel to all those hubs at different points in time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the delivery of new products and proposition changes, ensuring this is in line with the Product and Services Standards of Close Brothers Bank and balancing the commercial needs of the business
  • Assess the impact of policy and procedural changes across BPS propositions and design and implement changes that optimise customer experience and journey
  • Identify opportunities for enhancements to both systems and processes
  • Collaborate with functional teams and key stakeholders to ensure that initiatives meet business goals and customer needs (as well as adhering to regulatory requirements and group standards)
  • Facilitate workshops and other opportunities to gather insights from both internal and external stakeholders that support business cases and BPS priorities  
  • Hand over to Business as Usual (BAU) with robust processes and training to ensure that operational teams continue to operate effectively
  • Make informed decisions led by data
  • Produce reports and management information (MI) on the status of initiatives and implement ongoing measurements for business outcomes to ensure benefits and value have been realised
  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • Excellent organisation skills and timekeeping
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering operational initiatives and process improvements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and use this to inform decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced IT skills – Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience of the asset finance industry
  • Understanding of CRM and back-office loan administration systems
  • Experience in creating reports and dashboard
