Join Close Brothers Savings Team where you will to ensure that the on boarding of Retail and Corporate customers is in accordance with departmental procedures and within agreed SLAs. Working as part of the Operations team our ideal team member will have previous experience in in a regulated services environment with excellent attention to detail. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Processes

  • Create and maintain customer records in Temenos (T24) system.
  • Complete due diligence on new and existing customers in accordance with the department’s onboarding procedure
  • Process ongoing account requests ensuring that customer instructions are acted upon efficiently and work is completed to Savings Operations agreed standards
  • Represent the department when required in user testing changes to applications and systems, communicating results accordingly
  • Develop an understanding of how Front Office, Back Office and Customer Operations interact, building cross-departmental relationships
  • Support ongoing projects, completing retrospective reviews to ensure data accuracy of records held
  • Provide telephony support to Customer Services during peak periods.

Customer

  • Maintain a customer-focused mindset ensuring that any correspondence is clear and accurate, and instructions are responded to within agreed SLAs
  • Champion the customer always and provide excellent service

Conduct, Risk and Compliance

  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required
  • Escalate issues and process gaps where identified to the line manager, while developing a knowledge of the risks posed by both the operational environment and the conduct of the bank

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE:

  • Proven experience in a regulated services environment
  • Good organisation, time management and attention to detail
  • Able to adapt and prioritise a varied workload in a busy environment
  • Proactive attitude with experience of identifying areas for process improvement
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
